Overview:
This CTI PTL testing chamber is used for determination of the relative resistance to tracking performance that solid electrical insulating material under the action of an electric field, when the surface exposed to water containing impurities.
This equipment adopts humanized button operating device and remote controller, high quality materials and professional technology . In addition, automatic drip timing device, accurate electrode pressure sensor display, simple operation and high accuracy improve the efficiency of the test and make our equipment is stable and economic.

How to understand the voltage integer of 25 volts of Proof and Comparative Tracking Indices?
Comparative Tracking Index (CTI):
If there is no tracking failure and no persistent flame occuring after the fifieth drop, operator should adjust the test voltage to be : previous specific test volts minus 25V, for example, if the previous specific test voltage for the first 50 drops is 220V, then operator should adjust the test voltage to be 195 V after the fifieth drop.
Proof Tracking Index (PTI):
If there is no tracking failure and no persistent flame occuring after the fifieth drop, operator should adjust the test voltage to be : previous specific test volts plus 25V, for example, if the previous specific test voltage for the first 50 drops is 220V, then operator should adjust the test voltage to be 245V after the fifieth drop.
